I would think each has it's own "areas of difficulty" when compared to the other.

An excellent skin mount of a fish is tough to accomplish. Those that can do it well are true artists.

fish, they turn white and have to be airbrushed back to color. ya need some artistic talent I think a taxidermist doing any animal needs to have artistic talent. I wouldn't have the patience or the talent to do it.

I wouldn't have the patience or the talent to do it. [br yes, it takes some artistic skills for all. I have mounted deer, turkey, squirrel, ringneck, and fox. If you use the real turkeyhead, instead of a freeze dried painted one, it aint no picnic air brushin it.
