For long range......of course powder and bullet....and bullet seating length are a bit part. But the biggest part is brass prep. Most of your time....like 80% should be spent on brass prep. OTOH, if you "just" are shooting out to 300 yards, then it's not as critical.

Here is a pic of some groups with my Creedmoor. Honestly, the Ruger Predator that I have, is difficult to shoot because of the slim, rounded forend. I'm going to try shooting off a bipod next.

Bushy, that was 5/16th. My best was 1/4, so, yeah, I did improve. LOL

Shot this with my 220 Swift a long time ago. Nice shooting, once again. I've got my heavy barrel, 700 bdl, 243 cutting holes at a 100, but it's to dang heavy to lug around yote hunting.

4350 is the powder my 6.5 Swede likes. It will put those same group sizes....one hole groups as your creedmore. I'll have to look at the amount of charge I use, but I shoot the Hornady ELD match 140gr.
