For long range......of course powder and bullet....and bullet seating length are a bit part. But the biggest part is brass prep. Most of your time....like 80% should be spent on brass prep. OTOH, if you "just" are shooting out to 300 yards, then it's not as critical.

Here is a pic of some groups with my Creedmoor. Honestly, the Ruger Predator that I have, is difficult to shoot because of the slim, rounded forend. I'm going to try shooting off a bipod next.  |

Bushy, that was 5/16th. My best was 1/4, so, yeah, I did improve. LOL

Shot this with my 220 Swift a long time ago. Nice shooting, once again. I've got my heavy barrel, 700 bdl, 243 cutting holes at a 100, but it's to dang heavy to lug around yote hunting. |

4350 is the powder my 6.5 Swede likes. It will put those same group sizes....one hole groups as your creedmore. I'll have to look at the amount of charge I use, but I shoot the Hornady ELD match 140gr.
