For as much as a PIA the dog is at times,it's nothing compared to my wife and kids.Plus, the dog actually likes me.I'm so sick and tired of society in general,I'm ready to move to the Bob Marshall wilderness area and live like the unibomber.A good dog is all I would need. I was thinking of moving to Dubois. Mebbe not?

Well, Mugs went hunting again today. Richard put out eight chukars and he found them all. My shooting is not the greatest, but we do have enough chukar meat to put together a big pot of chukar rice soup. The important thing is that Mugs had a great time doing what he was born to do. The sad thing is that I couldn't find anyone to go along today, except for Ms. Doris.

Buried 4 this past year... and one cat. Down to two goldens and three beagles. I'm wrestling with another beagle pup or not...time will tell.

I was thinking of moving to Dubois. Mebbe not?Don't open any packages from Doug, if you do. That Unibomber reference got my attention? I've had a few dogs, but the big oaf of a black lab was my favorite. First trip to camp as a puppy, was so rowdy jumping around in the cab, that he made the rest of the trip in his pen in the back (had a cap on that truck). Perfect little gentleman on the trip back and spent the rest of his life sprawled up front with me on trips. Still have a pic of him displayed, sitting part way down the camp driveway, just looking across the hollow. That was his thing when at camp, when he wasn't chasing squirrels and chippies around the place. After he went almost four years ago, didn't want another pup. Lost that argument (as usual) and the little yeller girl we have now is a first class PITA, but a lovable fur ball some of the time. About the time I've had enough of her BS, she'll do something really endearing and get another chance. Think she knows when it's time to dial it back? She has enough energy for five labs.
