Looking for Load data on 30 Remington. Was planning on reloading for my Model 14. I have the brass and dies, but was wondering if any of you have loaded this round. I know the 45th edition Lyman reloading book has some data, but I don't have one handy. I've also read that 30/30 Win data will work as well.

No need for load data. 30-30 load data is identical.

No problem. Just start mild and work up as always.

Going to try and take a deer with my model 14 next year. It's just a cool old rifle. It deserves to be in the woods.

They are nice. I've hunted with one in 35 Remington.

You do know that in order to make it legitimate, you're gonna have to hand cast some bullets.

Cast bullets for small bores are only good for plinking. I don't think of Remington model 14's when I think of plinkers. The 45-70 however is a superb cast bullet gun and can take everything in the world with cast bullets and you can still plink.
