Except for my fever being 99.6, those are the EXACT same symptoms I had 2 mo's ago, when I tested + for Covid. Most people I knew had a very long and lingering cough with it. I didn't get the cough, fortunately. Yeah....no cough or sore throat yet. Got both flu & covid shots back in Oct so hopefully severity would be too bad.

Had two inches at best of dry snow. I blew everything away with my backpack leaf blower. Had a slight dusting thereafter.

I didn't get the cough, fortunately. Had Doc visit yesterday and tested positive for Covid. Fever gone and muscle/head ache much better. Now have a slight sore throat cough. If severe symptons they now have the Paxlovid drug. Keeping Daughter's kids who's a RRT does come with it's risks but isolating from the Mrs does have its benefits!!

I forgot to mention the weakness/tiredness, which actually was the longest lingering symptom I had. About everybody I spoke to that got this strain, said the same thing. The other "coldish" symptoms were very mild for me. Although most others had that lasting, nasty cough that I did not get.

THE biggest thing with all of these respiratory illnesses, is minding your lungs and trying to keep them as clear as possible. That's not always possible to accomplish without medical intervention, but you REALLY have to pay attention to that aspect. Once your lungs and breathing go too far south, many other things will follow.

Nothing to screw around with.

Ive seen sick for over a week. Thankfully, getting better. Leaving for NW Montana Saturday. I got sick 13 days ago and still don't feel 100%. A few days of 100.5-102 degree fever and couldn't eat for two days. Took aa at home covid test and it was negative. My son is a PA and his fiancé is an MD visited and said it was probably the flu. They said their hospital is seeing cases of the flu, rsv, and covid. I got the flu shot the last three years but decided not to this time. I will be getting it from now on. What ya got planned in MT this time of year, Dutch? Post some pics of the trip.

Ive seen sick for over a week. Thankfully, getting better. Leaving for NW Montana Saturday. What are you doing there? Visiting my nephew and his family. Hopefully listening to the hunting story from his 11 year olds successful muley kill. Maybe even shooting the new rifle I contributed to for his second son.

My grandson lives close to Rochester. I asked him how much snow he has. He said he can still see the car.

My grandson lives close to Rochester. I asked him how much snow he has. He said he can still see the car. No surprise. While working I was detailed on assignment to Rochester for 2 months dead of winter. Between that horrible "Black Ice" and monstrous snow storms....was glad to get back home. Only saving grace was my assignment was next door to a Wegmans!!

We got about 4 inches here in SC PA. Took the grands over to my oldest son's house in Waynesboro for a little sledding. We were dressed for it but my God was it cold today. Twenty degrees plus the wind chill. Kids had fun but we didn't stay long.

Looks to be about 8 inches here in Kalispell Montana. We have three deer bedded down just off the deck of the condo. LOL
Landed in snow, and the runway was snow covered. A landing jet sure does stir up the snow. 😂

A snowblower with a jet engine. That gives me an idea.

A snowblower with a jet engine. That gives me an idea. We have a backpack leaf blower at work for rent. I used that thing to blow snow off our outdoor equipment the other day. Holy cow, it actually makes walking difficult when it's at full speed.

Some warmer temps ahead along with rain should help thaw things out. Mid 50's by Friday.
