No a sit in..so basically a sit on the bottom. If I fish too long... well lets just say it's not real pretty when I get out

When I get into a boat...or attempt to, I just get close and fall over hoping that I land on enough boat to flop into the boat. The alternative is why I wear quick drying clothing.....including undies!!

I can assure anyone worried about looking out of place entering/egressing from a kayak have little to be concerned about when compared to the abomination of solar panels placed on the lawn in front of what used to be a picturesque State Park.

The store I work in put solar panels on our roof back in 2009. They provide 75% of the electricity we need during the day, if I remember that right

Well I suppose DCNR didn't want to drill holes in the roof of the office so chose instead the lawn. Easier to get to for maintenance...no ladders needed. Ugly as all get out. so are power poles for that matter; just not in your face ugly like these are.

And those damned cell towers everyone fought, oh, and don't forget the Walmarts everyone hated, but now shop at. 🤣

No argument from me cell towers are ugly. They were ugly when they were put up and remain ugly to this day. Never really thought much about Walmart being ugly if they are having them by a bunch of other ugly stores makes em blend in more.
Wind mills butt ugly night & day.

Limbernoodle, being you're a welllll, old person, I'm sure you know that fileted, breaded, and pan-fried bluegill is fine fish fare. I'd put them a distant second to the Walleye, on the edibility per freshwater fish available to us here in PA... along with Crappie.

wellllll, being as I'm old I throw em back because I'm set in my ways...which is throw em the hell back. I used to eat em along with eel & catfish....now I jest throw em the hell back as I'm old, set in my ways and tend to repeat myself which I don't believe for a minute because I'm old and set in my ways.

Started out cloudy and looking like rain any minute. Finally turned into a beautiful day.
Got another archery course finished up this afternoon and FINALLy booted out a fawn while mowing. Saw a total of six deer today. Two crossed the road in front of me near the club entrance this morning. Both yearlings, one had 4" fuzzy stubs on his noggin.
Great day, no kayaks involved. Had a little Jon boat for years. Don't miss it at all. If I got into a kayak, probably still be in it? Forever.

I can not for the life of me imagine anyone thinking this was a good idea

Oh I can imagine who thinks it was a great idea? They're now infesting our population by the millions with their Green Raw Deal brainstorms.
One of the largest school districts in PA, covered a hill on their main campus with solar panels a few years ago. Haven't looked at it lately, but it's quite a few acres.
Then they realized there was a problem with controlling the vegetation under the panels. Goats, sheep and alpacas have been brought in to control the weeds. That meant fencing had to be installed, which added to the cost of this great idea.

A nuke plant makes 23 times that electric, on probably 200 acres, if that

What most fail to realize is that private business does not put this stupid Chit in because it is a good idea. They do it because Govt funds most of it, and gives them "green" credits towards their dirty coal plants.
Its actually a double looser for tax payers..... we pay for worthless solar/wind ...at over priced government contract specs..... and it doesn't produce but a fraction of the energy needed. We still need to keep all the power plants that are powered by a natural resource because solar and wind are unreliable.
The foot print of these solar/wind farms are huge, as are the environmental cost to build..... and the huge environmental cost to decommission.
Its a scam......folow the money and tell me how the taxpayer gets payed back ?
Just another way for crooked politicians to funnel money to BS projects......
For all Trumps faults and BS....... The one thing he certainly got right was calling DC a swamp !!!
