The body looks huge, but it looks like it may have been a next day recovery. If an archer hits a buck like that, and decides he should back out and wait 'til morning, it sure would make for one sleepless night.

Those first pictures didn't do the buck justice. I thought Doug was losing it when he said new record.

Those numbers could be exactly right on but am I seeing a non-typical right beam? Looks like a 6x5 with some sort of double tine on the right side.,,? Like I said, it may not be that way and from the picture it is hard to tell, but I can't see 190+ in the view shown. Nothing gonna take away from it being a great, world class buck though. Congratulations to the hunter. Definitely a 6X5 but I don't think it's a double point. Holy cats! That is an entirely different, (better), presentation of what that deer actually is. What a hog!

Is it a stud, toad, slammer, hog, or is it just a big buck?

Is it a stud, toad, slammer, hog, or is it just a big buck? I made a post some years ago, on "archer nomenclature". LOL. The lines that are regurgitated from the made for TV shows are funny. "Toad" tops it out for me.

For me it seems non-typical and typical. A non-typical frame, and typically, never in front of me.

And.... you include Hog, but conveniently leave out it's lesser statured cousin, the lowly "Pig". Whatta ya have against PIGS, Ridge ?

The BIG question here is, what would Chuck Norris limbernoodle do ? limbernoodle, would you want to stick a toad ? Or maybe that's not your "gig" ? Being the "floats-man" that you are, you'd probably much rather float a nice Bradford County lake, in your Salma Kayak, holding your rod (NOT a euphemism). ME TOO, limbernoodle !

If it's a state record, and we aren't sure yet, it's a pretty good buck

Haven't heard much about the Benoit family lately, maybe they decided to remove themselves from the spot light. Maybe time for a new family of hunters to take over the spotlight, looks like the Gulvas clan has a good start. Denny could be the patriarch bringing turkeys into play with Pennsylvania's big three.
