Whereja get it ? Form their site ? I have a Buck 110 that was myfirst real "huntin knife". Parents bought it as a birthday present a loooong while ago. I used it up until last season. The true worth I have for it has nothing to do with it's monetary worth. I retired it to my gun safe, ready to be passed on when it's time. I bought another a few months ago that was on an incredible sale.... not that they are that expensive anyway ?

I am not a big folding knife fan. All the gunk from gutting gets in it and it's just more work for me. Nice looking knife though.

Stroupy, I understand wht you're saying. Yes, it can collect "junk" in the fold, but the 110 is a completely utilitarian knife, made well and solid. Not the best in any one component, but completely solid in all respects. It even sharpens quite well. Great knife for the money.

Fleroo....Cabelas also has it which is normally where I buy stuff but went with BPS since I have several of their gift cards to chew-up. I just cked tracking & FedX has it on their truck in Lewisberry Out for Delivery. Think I will use my ole Buck 110 & just keep this one safe out of harms way or loss!! Amazing they're still makin this in the USA for under 50 bucks. I have Bucks fishin model 732 X-Tract Multi-Tool & its from China...still purdy darn good though!!

I just posted it because some may have found this listing to be of interest. I do some shopping on Ebay from time to time. While this one I posted the link to has free shipping, you sometimes have a shipping charge to pay for something you buy on Ebay, Loggy.

I love my 110 folder. Love my 105 fixed blade like stroupy showed too. I usually have trouble figuring which one to take hunting on a given day.

I have an old beat-up 110 I use for cutting up bunker, trap cables etc while crabbing & it handles a lot of abuse & then some! No way this 50th Anniversary Edition will see any saltwater!!

Yep, Mutt not all are USA made. I like Case folders, I think they take and hold an edge better than buck, they have a great warranty and they are made in PA. Both knives have a strong following.

FedX just dropped knife off. Exactly as pictured above. Beautiful knife!! Box marked Made in USA plus knife also stamped on blade as shown. Nice HD leather sheath but had a lil sticker on it: Sheath made in Mexico!

Good deal Loggy. The 2nd, non-sentimental 110 I purchased recently, I got for $25. It was a display and they lost the box, so knocked some bucks off. As I said, it's not the top-o-line on any one factor, but a completely utilitarian piece that will sharpen well and last forever with moderate care.

Yep, Mutt not all are USA made. I like Case folders, I think they take and hold an edge better than buck, they have a great warranty and they are made in PA. Both knives have a strong following. OT: Another knife made in PA is Queen, John. I have a few of Queen's fixed blade knives. The steel is good quality and they hold an edge very nicely. This one has a nice spalted maple handle: The knife I usually carry is one made by Camillus some years back (their cartridge series). This is one of the knives they made with the image of the base of a .30-06 shell. It is a combination folding pocket knife with a saw blade (tip of saw is broken off) that I have not used all that much, two screwdrivers (straight and phillips), and two cutting blades. I can gut a deer, do some minor mechanical repairs, or, among other chores, open mail with it. Camillus has gone out of business, so their knives are getting hard to aquire. Sometimes one comes up on Ebay. Their factory was in New York state somewhere. www.ebay.com/itm/Camillus-30-06-Cartridge-Series-C4-Camp-Utility-knife-NEW-IN-BOX-OFFERS-/231270690421?pt=Collectible_Knives&hash=item35d8ceae75 Photo below. /100_0137.jpg

That is a good looking fixed blade. I had a Queen in my late teens with yellow scales. I lost it.

My most cherished knife is one passed on to me from my Dad on ole Case 316 Hunter. It's likely over 55 years old & has gutted 5 bear and too many deer to even think about tallying. Not worth much on the open market but priceless to me! Still looks purdy darn good too!!

Yep Loggy. The "price" of such things is immeasurable. I told a story about the Buck 110 that I own, and how thinking I left it at a gutpile on an opening morning, did not sleep, and made the 1.5 hr trek prior to daybreak the next morning, only to have it found a week or so later under the seat of mu Uncle's Jeep Cherokee. It's goin on close to 40 yrs old, and the reason I decided to retire it to my safe and start with another. A gift from mom and dad.
I also have an H&R single 12 ga that was my first shotgun. Kicks like a mule, and wouldn't wish it on any 12 year old weighing not much more than 100 lbs. That's retired too.

When I have my hands full butchering, I also have them full of Buck knives. I always butcher with a 105 fixed blade and a 110 folder and I switch when one gets dull. I'm definitely using one or the other here.
