Didn't say it was "bad" merely "couldn't believe" you asked to compare our law abiding VP with a proven law enforcement background to someone that's currently under arrest or is & out on bail charged with 91 criminal felony counts spanning 4 indictments. VP Harris was previously attorney general of California from 2011 to 2017 and a U.S. senator from California from 2017 to 2021 which obviously supports her solid governing experience. Okay if that's what you believe I respect that. But have you seen her on the world stage? Many times. Just a few weeks ago:

Does the bible mention a rapture? I believe it was never mentioned until the mid 1800s. The source of the idea is credit to at least a couple different people. No Though nowhere in the Bible is the word rapture, Paul did write; But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died. For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will by no means precede those who have died. For the Lord himself, with a cry of command, with the archangel's call and with the sound of God's trumpet, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever. (NRSV, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)

People have been using and abusing religion and selected bible quotes for centuries of dooms day claims, judgement day claims, etc.....mostly for the purpose of "playing the religion card" because who wants to tick off God?
The Bible is a collection of stories. Myths. It should be read IN IT'S WHOLE and digested as such. Picking parts and quotes alone to make points is a faulty way of making points with anyone.
The Lord will come when the Lord chooses.
Of course, you could always swap out religions and go to Scientology. You've got spaceships, Tom Cruise, and fake drug experts.

The Bible is not a myth to me. I believe it in its entirety and have devoted my life to its study

Amen Mike!! The Bible is the infallible Word of God. When I see my young Grandkids on their knees praying at church...it totally humbles me on how simple it is to put your trust in the Lord.

The Bible clearly refers to a second coming of Christ. A rapture would make the second coming the third coming. The rapture idea is because the word says God's people are not appointed to wrath. But the wrath of God is poured out upon the Earth during the "Day of the Lord's wrath" which the day here is commonly interpreted as a year. So it would then be the final year of the three and one half year tribulation. The book of Daniel tells us the tribulation is 3 1/2 years and not 7. The book of Revelations says God's people are hid for a "time, times, and half a time" or 3 1/2 years. Jesus prayed in John 16 that his followers would "not be taken out of the World but only kept from the evil". After decades of study I cannot convince myself of a rapture. I also do not rule one out

Oh….and just because it’s a collection of stories doesn’t mean it’s fabricated or wrong.

My wife and I both went to Catholic colleges. Different ones. She actually had a Nun tell her that the Bible was a book of Myths. My wife, raised Catholic, was shocked that a Nun would make such a statement. Then she did some research and asking and was relieved.

And for you Biblical scholars who support Trump:
1 John Chapter 2
1 My children,* I am writing this to you so that you may not commit sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous one. 2 He is expiation for our sins, and not for our sins only but for those of the whole world. 3 The way we may be sure* that we know him is to keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps his word, the love of God is truly perfected in him. This is the way we may know that we are in union with him: 6 whoever claims to abide in him ought to live [just] as he lived.
Trump Bibles for sale anyone?
