A spear is much easier to carry Dutch.You guys are missing the boat. Well, a rifle is easier to carry. Not sure they would approve of that in archery season . 😂

I took the crossbow out after Christmas. So fed up with the damn thing. It's one of the reasons I no longer look forward to archery season. Bulky, hard to handle, top heavy on the shoulder, can't walk thru any kind of brush. Sucks the life outta me. I looked at those expensive narrow bows. WTH? $2200? A bow is the worst investment one can make. Now, if there is a narrower one without all the bells and whistles, I might be interested Look at the wicked ridge m370. If I wasn't going back to the vertical bow, I would own one.

Look at the wicked ridge m370. If I wasn't going back to the vertical bow, I would own one. What bow did you end up buying? 2019 Mathews Tactic. Bought a used one off of AT. ONly shot a handful of times last night when I got it, but it shoots very nice. Very smooth and quiet.

I bought my kid a new Mathews VRX for Christmas.He was out shooting me so I had to go out and buy one for myself lol.Turns out it was the indian not the arrow lol.

If I wasn't going back to the vertical bow, I would own one. Well, that looks narrow enough and a decent price range. Maybe a retirement gift to myself, along with a Ruger Compact in 6.5? 😊
